A one-off packaging design for Starbucks featuring audacious typography.
The ‘Salted caramel brownie’ and ‘Limited edition’ lettering took inspiration from chunky brownies that vary in size. They recall being in a baking tin together, coming out as haphazard slices.
The process:
- I used varied letter weights, some with unusal stretch and sharp cuts.
-The curves on the letters like A, R and C are cut imperfectly to feel organic.
- A grainy texture was then applied to the text to give a cakey texture.
Voila! Your frappuccino is served.
